The Gaia Foundation and allies have launched a new report ‘Short Circuit – The Lifecycle of our Electronic Gadgets and the True Cost to Earth’. This new report explores one of the key drivers of mining – the production of consumer electronic products – and alerts us to the true costs of these ubiquitous objects.
